Term Structure
Lessons run during term time and broadly follow local school term dates. There are no lessons during half terms or school holidays unless otherwise stated.
Monthly payments are spread evenly across the year to keep billing simple and predictable.
Lesson Format
Lessons take place in small groups of up to five students at:

Children take part in shared activities together while progressing individually through guided learning tasks and teacher feedback.
Parents or carers are welcome to remain in the room during lessons and are encouraged to support younger children where appropriate.
Fees & Payments
Tuition is charged at:
£60 per month
Payments are collected monthly by secure recurring card payment or direct debit.
A child's place is confirmed once the first monthly payment has been received.
Payments are non-refundable once a payment period has begun.
Trial Lessons
Trial lessons allow families to experience a regular Piano Labs group before committing to ongoing lessons.
Following the trial, families will be contacted regarding available spaces and next steps where appropriate.
Missed Lessons
As lessons take place in fixed small groups, we are unable to offer make-up lessons for missed sessions.
If your child cannot attend, please let us know in advance where possible.
Where appropriate, practice guidance or lesson notes may still be provided through the Piano Labs platform.
Behaviour & Participation
Piano Labs lessons are designed to be structured, interactive and encouraging for all students.
We ask all children to participate respectfully and follow lesson expectations so the group environment remains positive and focused.
If ongoing behaviour issues significantly disrupt the group, we may recommend pausing lessons until the student is ready to return successfully.
Stopping Lessons
If you wish to stop lessons, one full month's notice is required.
For example, if notice is given during April, lessons and payments will continue until the end of May.
As payments are spread evenly across the year, refunds are not available for partially used months.
Communication
We provide regular progress visibility through the Piano Labs platform, including practice guidance and assignments where appropriate.
